Our Team
Arthur W. Harmon, Jr. has been a Church School Teacher since 2000 and served as Church School Superintendent at Lee Chapel AME Church. He has taught interesting, compelling and inspirational Adult Church School Study Classes in provocative subjects such as:

- Sex and the Bible
- The Cross and The Crescent
- God is Not Dead
- The Spirit World: Angels and Demons
- Reason Why We Sing
- The Romans Road to Salvation
Brother Harmon has also served as Christian Education Director for South Ohio District of the Third Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church, Board Member of the Christian Education Department of the Third District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church and Community Lay Director for the Greater Cincinnati Walk to Emmaus.
He is an Attorney with a private practice specializing in Family Law, Personal Injury and Probate in Cincinnati, Ohio, and 40 years’ experience. He is General Counsel for the Third Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church.
Marvel Gentry Harmon is a graduate of Northwestern University, an expert in high tech solution sales and management, arts marketing, management and public relations. Sister Marvel has led Children’s and Youth Ministries for over twenty-five years and is delighted to provide marketing and production support for her husband in Ministry at Standing in the Gap USA.
Our Mission
The Great Commission is our mission. Jesus instructed us to teach and make disciples of all the nations in Matthew 28:19-20. We teach God's Word in engaging Scripture-based Christian Education online and in person to Stand in the Gap that sin creates between God and people in Ezekiel 22:30 and lead them to become disciples of the Lord.
